Does CT20 wash and wax leave a shiny finish?

Is CT20 Wash & Wax safe to use on all types of car paint and finishes?

Yes, CT20 is perfectly safe to use on any clear coated and metallic painted surfaces, we do not recommend use on matte finishes.



Can I use degreaser to clean my car engine?

Yes, you can use degreaser to clean your car engine. It effortlessly removes oil and grease from the engines, be cautious of electrical components when washing the engine bay.


Can a degreaser effectively remove built up grease and grime from engine components?

Yes, CT14 Engine & Bilge Degreaser is specifically formulated to breakdown and dissolve oil, grease for cleaning engine parts.



Can I use Diesel Power in my vehicle fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)?

Yes, Diesel Power is DPF Compatible.


Your recommendation is 1ml per 1 litre, if you accidentally over fill it by twice the amount will it be, okay?

Yes, you can use up to 2 times the amount recommended.


Can I use Diesel Power in common rail engines?

Yes, the product is recommended for common rail and high-pressure diesel engines.


I have found Diesel Power in my shed, I think it is 4 to 6 years old, can I still use it?

We would not recommend using this product, due to the additives having an effective life of around 24 months.



What is the ideal dilution ratio?

Extra Heavy-Duty Degreasing: Use Shock Treatment diluted 1:1 with water.

Medium to Heavy Degreasing: Use Shock Treatment diluted 1:5 with water.

General Cleaning: Use Shock Treatment diluted up to 1:10 with water.


Can I use Shock Treatment on plastic surfaces?

Yes, it can be applied to most surfaces such as plastic, metal, alloys, rubber and glass. It’s important to avoid applying and prevent over spraying on aluminium, zinc, magnesium and their alloys, as well as on paintwork, especially oil-based paints. Always test Shock Treatment on a small inconspicuous area to be degreased to ensure compatibility with surface.



Can I use CT 14 Engine and Bilge Degreaser through a pressure washer?

Yes, it can be used through pressure washers and steam cleaners.


What is the preferred mixing ratio?

Light degreasing: 1-part Chemtech CT14 in 20 parts water. For removal of diesel soot on paintwork, vinyl upholstery and headlining.

Heavy degreasing: 1-part Chemtech CT14 in 10 parts water. For use in lube bays, on concrete driveways, engines, transmissions and differentials. Allow 10 to 15 minutes contact time before rinsing.

Extra Heavy Build Up: Mix 1-part Chemtech CT14 with 1 part mineral turps or kerosene. Use immediately.
